Daniel Frasson
Daniel Frasson (10 December 1966 – 15 July 2023) was a Brazilian football player and coach. Career Born in Siderópolis, Frasson played as a midfielder for Palmeiras, Internacional, Atlético Mineiro, Paraná and Fortaleza. With Palmeiras he won the national championship in 1993, the club's first title for 16 years. He also won a number of state titles, being the Campeonato Paulista in 1993, Campeonato Mineiro in 1995, Campeonato Catarinense in 1999, and Campeonato Cearense in 2000 and 2001. After retiring as a player he became a technical director at Fortaleza, and also managed clubs including Quixadá, Iguatu, Nova Russas, Flamengo do Piauí, Tiradentes and Gurupi Gurupi, Tocantins is a city and a municipality in the Brazilian state of Tocantins. Siderópolis
Siderópolis is a municipality in the state of Santa Catarina in the South region of Brazil. History Siderópolis ( Nova Belluno) is one of the first Italian settlements in Brazil. The arrival of Italian immigrants in the region is related to the great migration of Europeans to various parts of the world that took place by the end of the 19th century. They migrated especially to the Americas, searching for better living options fleeing the squalid living conditions that came to be because of the European Industrial Revolution. Campeonato Mineiro
The Campeonato Mineiro is the top-flight professional state football league in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. It is run by the Minas Gerais Football Federation (FMF). The history of Campeonato Mineiro can be divided into two parts: before and after the construction of the Mineirão, in September 1966. The Mineirão is the biggest football stadium of Minas Gerais and it is located in Minas Gerais' state capital, Belo Horizonte. Before the stadium's inauguration América and Atlético were the most successful teams in the state, but after the construction of the Mineirão, known as the "Era Mineirão" ("Mineirão Era"), another team from the capital, Cruzeiro, also gained prominence.
