Daniel Dutuel
Daniel Maurice Dutuel (born 10 December 1967) is a French former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Over the course of 11 seasons, he amassed Ligue 1 totals of 296 games and 37 goals. He also played three years in Spain. Football career Born in Bort-les-Orgues, Corrèze, Dutuel was a product of the famous AJ Auxerre youth system, which also included Basile Boli, Eric Cantona, William Prunier and Pascal Vahirua, all under the tutelage of legendary Guy Roux. He made his first-team – and Ligue 1 – debut on 16 July 1985 in a 0–0 away draw against Stade Lavallois (aged not yet 18), and was already an undisputed starter by the time the side reached the semifinals of the UEFA Cup in 1992–93. Bort-les-Orgues
Bort-les-Orgues (; oc, Bòrt) is a commune in the Corrèze department in central France. Geography Bort-les-Orgues is situated on the Dordogne. The river Rhue forms part of the commune's southeastern border, then flows into the Dordogne. Sights Bort-les-Orgues takes its name from ''les Orgues'', a 2 km long cliff of volcanic columnar basalt 80m to 100m high, at the foot of which it lies. Stade Lavallois Mayenne Football Club (), also referred to as Stade Laval or simply Laval, is a French association football club based in Laval in western France. 1995 UEFA Intertoto Cup
The 1995 UEFA Intertoto Cup was the first edition of the tournament administered by the UEFA. It saw Strasbourg and Bordeaux win their semi-finals to advance to the UEFA Cup, the latter eventually finishing runners-up. It also saw English representatives Wimbledon and Tottenham Hotspur banned from European competition for the following season, after both had fielded under-strength sides in their respective Intertoto Cup matches. The ban was lifted on appeal but England were still forced to forfeit their UEFA Fair Play berth for the 1996–97 UEFA Cup. The 1995 competition also saw the return of Yugoslav clubs on the international scene after three years of ban due to UN embargo. 1996 UEFA Cup Final
The 1996 UEFA Cup Final was a two-legged association football match contested by Bayern Munich of Germany and Bordeaux of France to determine the winner of the 1995–96 UEFA Cup. This was the only UEFA Cup final during the 1990s to not feature any Italian sides and Bordeaux became the only team in the competition's history to reach the final from qualifying through the UEFA Intertoto Cup. The first leg was played at the Olympiastadion in Munich on 1 May 1996, and the second leg was played two weeks later at Parc Lescure in Bordeaux. Bayern won the first leg 2–0 and the second leg 3–1 to record a 5–1 aggregate victory.
