Danie Keulder
Danie Keulder (born 2 August 1973) is a former Namibian cricketer, who has played for Namibia's national cricket team from 1994 until 2005. He first appeared for Namibia in the 1994 ICC Trophy, against Canada in a match that his team lost by eight wickets, having put a mere 51 runs on the board. Keetmanshoop
Keetmanshoop is a town in the ǁKaras Region of southern Namibia. It is named after , a German Empire, German industrialist and benefactor of the city. Keetmanshoop had a population of 27,862 people in 2023. History Before the colonial era, the settlement was known as ''ǂNuǂgoaes'' or ''Swartmodder'', both meaning "Black Marsh" and indicating the presence of a spring in the area. The first white settler, Guilliam Visagie, arrived here in 1785. When in February 1850 the Kharoǃoan clan (Keetmanshoop Nama) split from the Red Nation (Namibia), Red Nation, the main subtribe of the Nama people, they settled permanently in the area. In 1860 the Rhenish Missionary Society founded a mission there to christianise the local Nama people. Feiko Kloppenburg
Jan Feiko Kloppenburg (born 19 June 1974) is a Dutch former international cricketer. Born in Haarlem, North Holland, Kloppenburg played six One Day Internationals for the Netherlands from September 2002 to March 2003. Domestic career Kloppenburg made his first-class cricket debut in the 2004 ICC Intercontinental Cup game against Ireland at Deventer. He had a match to forget, bagging a pair with the bat and conceding 60 runs from 12 wicketless overs. International career Kloppenburg toured England with a Netherlands A side in 1995, but his first tournament of note for his country was the 1998 European Championships, held that year in his home country. Klaas-Jan Jeroen van Noortwijk (born 10 July 1970) is a Dutch former cricketer. Having played as a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler, he now teaches at a Dutch high school. 1994 ICC Trophy
The 1994 ICC Trophy (formally the ABN AMRO ICC Trophy) was a cricket tournament that took place in Kenya between 12 February and 6 March 1994. It was the fifth ICC Trophy tournament to be staged, and acted as the Cricket World Cup qualification tournament for the 1996 Cricket World Cup. Zimbabwe, the winners of the previous three tournaments, had been granted Full membership of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1992 and so automatically qualified for the World Cup. For the first time three spots were on offer to qualify for the World Cup, and matches were played over 50 overs a side, though white clothing and red balls were still used.
