Akhara or Akhada (Hindi: अखाड़ा, romanised: ''Akhāṛā'') is an Indian word for a place of practice with facilities for boarding, lodging and training, both in the context of Indian martial artists or a ''sampradaya'' monastery for religious renunciates in Guru–shishya tradition. it is similar to the Greek-origin word ''academy'' and the English word ''school'', can be used to mean both a physical institution or a group of them which share a common lineage or are under a single leadership, such as the school of monastic thought or the school of martial arts. Unlike the gurukul in which students live and study at the home of a guru, members of an akhara although train under a guru but they do not live a domestic life. ''Dangal'' () is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language biographical film, biographical sports drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao under Aamir Khan Productions with Siddharth Roy Kapur under The Walt Disney Company India. The film stars Khan as Mahavir Singh Phogat, a pehlwani Amateur wrestling, amateur wrestler who trains his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari to become India's first world-class female wrestlers. ''Dangal'' is the soundtrack album for the 2016 Hindi Sports film, sports Biographical film, biopic film of the Dangal (2016 film), same name. The film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Siddharth Roy Kapur, features music composed by Pritam and lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya in Hindi, Rajesh Malarvannan in Tamil and Rajshri Sudhakar in Telugu. The film marks the second collaboration of Aamir Khan and Pritam, after ''Dhoom 3'' (2013). The songs were composed at Panchgani House in June 2015. Daler Mehndi had sung the title track of the film. The song "Dhaakad" was sung by rapper Raftaar (rapper), Raftaar in Haryanvi, Tamil and Telugu (as "Jaakirathai" and "Jaagradha") and became popular.
