Dane Rawlins
Early life and education Rawlins was born and raised in Brixton and Dulwich, South London. He attended Tulse Hill Comprehensive School and later continued his education at Chelsfield and Bromley. Rawlins then pursued further studies at Orpington College and Hull University. Introduction to equestrianism While his early years involved boxing, Rawlins developed a passion for equestrianism and learned to ride at Dulwich Riding School. This marked the beginning of his journey into dressage. Kristina "Tina" Cook (née Gifford, born 31 August 1970), is a British three-day eventing rider. She is the 2009 European Champion and a three-time Olympic medallist, winning individual and team bronze medals in 2008 and team silver in 2012. She has also won two World team golds (1994, 2010) and four European team golds (1995, 1999, 2009, 2017). Biography Cook was born Kristina Gifford in Rustington and is the daughter of the four times British jump racing Champion Jockey, Josh Gifford. Hickstead (March 2, 1996 – November 6, 2011) was a stallion ridden by Canadian Eric Lamaze. With rider Lamaze, he was an Olympic gold and silver medallist in show jumping. European Dressage Championships
The European Dressage Championships are the European championships for the equestrian discipline of dressage. They are held every two years in odd-numbered years. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded in both individual and team competitions. There are also championships held for juniors, young riders, and ponies. Since 2015, the competition has shared a site and branding with vaulting, reining, jumping, and driving events. For sponsorship reasons, eventing is not included, as it is part of the FEI European Championships, echoing the combined World Equestrian Games concept.
