''Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX 3'' is a music video game developed by Konami and the tenth entry of Dance Dance Revolution released in the United States. It was released on November 15, 2005 for the Xbox. About 70 songs are available in total in this version. The game was announced in a press release by Konami on May 17, 2005, and unveiled at the E³ expo in Los Angeles that same day. Gameplay Similar to previous Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) titles, this game is played by listening to the music and hitting the up/down/left/right arrows when they hit the outline at the top of the screen after coming up from the bottom. This may be done with an Xbox controller or a DDR controller (dance mat). If you miss steps, your health goes down, but if you time one correctly, the health bar in the upper left slightly goes up. BeForU was a Japanese pop girl group that performed music primarily for the Bemani series of rhythm games. Their 2000 debut song "Dive" was particularly notable as being the first Japanese-language pop song in the ''Dance Dance Revolution'' series. "Rock Lobster" is a song by American band the B-52's, written by their singer Fred Schneider and guitarist Ricky Wilson. is a Japanese composer who has contributed to the ''Bemani'' series of music video games. He has produced songs for ''Beatmania'', ''Beatmania IIDX'', ''Pop'n Music'', '' Dance Maniax'', ''Guitar Freaks'', ''DrumMania'', '' Mambo a Gogo'', and ''Dance Dance Revolution'' (''Dancing Stage''). He collaborated with the Shibuya-Kei vocalist "EeL" to provide original songs for BEMANI under his "EeL" pseudonym. Between 2000 - 2004 Funaki produced a series of Lounge Music compositions to accompany games created by Bemani Works using the name "Orange Lounge".
