Dan Palmer (guitarist)
Daniel Palmer (born 14 August 1978) is an English guitarist. He was born in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, and now lives in Whittier, California, United States. He is the lead guitarist of the bands Death By Stereo (since Oct 1999) and Zebrahead (since 2013). Palmer is a longtime user of Fernandes Guitars. Biography He was formerly the guitarist for a hardcore punk band called ''Eyelid'', which was formed in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California in 1994. He joined the band in 1996 but they broke up in 1999. In the same year, Keith Barney, who was the guitarist of a hardcore punk band, Death by Stereo, left the band, so Dan took over Keith's place as the lead guitarist. In 2013, a punk rock band Zebrahead offered him to join them as the lead guitarist after Greg Bergdorf left the band and he accepted it. He has been using Fernandes guitars for a long time. Fernandes Guitars
Fernandes Guitars is a guitar brand of Japanese marketing company Fernandes Co. Ltd. It is one of two guitar brands belonging to the company, the other being Burny Guitars which are Gibson guitar replicas. Its parent company originated in 1969 as Saito Musical Instruments before changing its name to Fernandes in 1972. The company started as a distributor of flamenco guitars sub-contracting to Japanese factories to build them. As the company grew, it expanded production to include electric guitars, bass guitars, amplifiers, and accessories to become one of the biggest guitar producers in Japan. Early manufacturing was done by Kawai Gakki who had guitar building experience from their acquisition of Teisco in 1967. Paul Miner
Paul Miner (born December 4, 1976) is a former bassist for Death by Stereo, he left the band in early 2005 (right before the band's fourth album '' Death for Life''), to produce, engineer, master, and mix music full-time. Previously he produced and engineered the first three Death by Stereo records, which is probably why the band's fourth album ''Death for Life'', was a noticeable departure from their regular sound. Paul was also in a band called Kill The Messenger, which was also signed to Indecision Records. Paul is the brother of Jim Miner, the original guitarist, who left the band during the recording of Death by Stereo's third album '' Into the Valley of Death''. Zebrahead is an American rock band from La Habra, California, formed in 1996. The group's current line-up comprises rapper Ali Tabatabaee, bassist Ben Osmundson, drummer Ed Udhus, lead guitarist Dan Palmer and lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Adrian Estrella. Playing a style of music that merges elements of pop-punk and hip hop music, they have released thirteen studio albums. Death by Stereo (also referred to as D.B.S.) is an American hardcore punk band formed in Orange County, California circa 1998 by frontman Efrem Schulz. They are well known for their energetic performances and intricate guitar work. Their name can be attributed to the 1987 horror film '' The Lost Boys,'' in which Corey Haim speaks the line.
