Dan Hannebery
Daniel Hannebery (born 24 February 1991) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Sydney Swans from 2009 to 2018 and for the St Kilda Football Club from 2019 to 2022. Hannebery won the AFL Rising Star award in his second season in 2010, and is a three-time All-Australian. He also won a premiership with Sydney in 2012 and the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award in 2015. Early life Hannebery was a standout junior footballer and represented the Oakleigh Chargers in the TAC Cup, as well as playing for Vic Metro at the 2008 Under 18 National Championships. He was described as a 'bull out of a gate' type player and was known for his powerful core and ability to absorb the tackle, and also his contested ball winning ability which was his main strength. Oakleigh Chargers
The Oakleigh Chargers is an Australian rules football club playing in the Talent League, the top statewide under-18 competition in Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia. They are based at Warrawee Park in Oakleigh, Victoria, representing the southeastern suburban area of Melbourne. The Chargers were one of two additional metropolitan clubs introduced to the competition in 1995 as part of a plan by the Australian Football League, AFL to replace the traditional club zones with independent junior clubs. This was to help aid in player development and the process of the AFL draft. In June 2008 the Chargers moved into a new pavilion at Warrawee Park, however they rarely play in Oakleigh, if at all. Tom Scully
Tom Scully (born 15 May 1991) is a former professional Australian rules footballer. He played for the Melbourne Football Club, Greater Western Sydney Giants, and Hawthorn Football Club. A star midfielder at junior level, Scully was originally selected by Melbourne with the first overall draft pick of the 2009 AFL draft. However at the conclusion of his initial two-year contract with Melbourne, he accepted the opportunity to join the newly established GWS Giants in 2012 on a six-year deal. Matthew "Matt" Hannebery (born 16 October 1964) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Footscray in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Career Recruited from Old Xaverians, Hannebery started at Footscray in 1986 and played 32 league games for the club in five seasons. Most of his appearances came in 1988 (10) and 1989 (13). Hannebery was appointed captain of Old Xaverians in 1992, then coached the club in 1993 and 1994, when they finished third both seasons. He was captain again in 1995 and led them to a premiership that year, which was secured with a 15.11 (101) to 2.5 (17) grand final win over the University Blues.
