Dan Børge Akerø
Dan Børge Akerø (born 23 January 1951) is a Norwegian television personality. He took his education at the University of Oslo, graduating with a cand.mag. degree. From 1975 to 1980 he worked as a research assistant and research fellow at the International Peace Research Institute, Oslo. He specialized in Latin American topics. In his younger days he also played association football for Skeid and Viking FK. Before finishing his master's degree, he started his media career as a foreign affairs reporter in NRK Radio in 1979. He was then promoted to news anchor in the national news show '' Dagsrevyen''. In 1986, he became a talk show host, for ''SenFredag'', the first talk show on Norwegian television. He followed up with '' LørDan'', which ran from 1987 to 1990. From 1990 to 1992 he was the sub-director of culture and entertainment in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. {{Unreferenced, date=August 2013 ''Den store klassefesten'' (The great class party) is a Norwegian chat show which was shown on NRK1 in 2000, 2001, 2005 and again from 2008. The programme was part of NRK's Saturday night line-up and the presenter was Dan Børge Akerø. Working with him, Akerø had the comedians Øystein Bache and Rune Gokstad who did a lot of the presenting work in the series. The series is regarded as one of NRK's biggest successes of the 2000s and won the prize for best chat show at Gullruten 2002. Previously, Akerø had won the prize for best presenter for the programme at Gullruten 2001. The series premiered on NRK on 12 February 2000 and was shown on Saturday nights. Eli Rygg (born 22 September 1955) is a Norwegian television personality and children's writer. She grew up in Veblungsnes and moved to Levanger at the age of 12. She attended folk high school in Skogn Municipality and Inderøy Municipality. She had a daughter as a teenager (in 1973), and studied domestic science and childcare in Skatval, and thereafter found work in Stjørdal Municipality. In 1985 she moved to Oslo as she was drafted by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation to star in the children's television show ''Portveien 2''. Gunvor Hals (born 16 April 1953) is a Norwegian television personality. She hails from Tingvoll Municipality. She was known as a continuity announcer in Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation television before hosting her own show in the 1980s, ''Hæla i taket'', a musical program with dansband and schlager-like songs. The long-running show which she hosted together with Vidar Lønn-Arnesen, ''Da Capo'' in the 1990s, was in the same vein.
