Damn Seagulls
Damn Seagulls was a rock group from Helsinki, Finland. History Damn Seagulls is a Finnish-rock group, formed in 1997 in Helsinki. They're also noted for their hit single "Once Upon a Time" is featured of the credits of The Dudesons Movie & their TV Show. Their rock style is kind of different from other Rock bands due to their use of brass instruments and woodwind instruments to make catchy tunes. The band is currently playing shows in many parts of Finland. They have released two full-length album entitled "One Night at Sirdie's" in 2005 and "Soul Politics" in January 2007. In February 2007 Damn Seagulls will start 'Soul Politics' tour around Finland. In February 2007 Damn Seagulls has released their first video 'Human Torch'. 15 May 2007 the band informed at their website that Aki Karppanen is no longer the drummer of the band. The Dudesons
The Dudesons () are a Finnish entertainment group. They are best known for their TV shows and live performances, which are a combination of stunts and comedy. Their early TV shows were similar to '' Jackass''. Starting their television career in the early 2000s, they gained international fame and had a show on the American television channel MTV in 2010. After ''The Dudesons in America'', the group started to shift from the stunts to more multidimensional careers. Background The Dudesons consists of Jukka Hildén (b. 1980), Jarppi Leppälä (b. 1979), Jarno Laasala (b. 1979) and Hannu-Pekka "HP" Parviainen (b. 1981). Brass Instruments
A brass instrument is a musical instrument that produces sound by sympathetic vibration of air in a tubular resonator in sympathy with the vibration of the player's lips. Anssi Kela
Anssi Kela (born 29 July 1972 in Kerava, Finland) is a Finnish singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist who has published six albums. During his career, Kela has sold over 230,000 records in Finland. He received four Emma awards in 2002. Anssi Kela comes from a musical family. His late father was a keyboardist and songwriter in a gospel band called Pro Fide, his mother is a cantor and brother a drummer. Kela began his musical career playing various stringed instruments, including the violin, cello and contrabass. However he was more interested in rock music, and wanted to play bass, instead. At the age of 13, in 1985, Kela formed a gospel band Yhdeksäs hetki with his school mates. In the band he played bass and wrote the songs. After the band gave up gospel music and changed their name to Pekka ja susi. Kela started to sing in the band as well as playing bass.
