Damjan Zlatnar
Damjan Zlatnar ( sr-cyr, Дамјан Златнар, born 16 December 1977 in Ljubljana) is a Slovenian-born Serbian former athlete who specialized in the 110 metre hurdles and bobsledder. He competed for Slovenia at the 1999 World Indoor Championships, the 2001 World Championships the 2004 Olympic Games, the 2007 European Indoor Championships, the 2007 World Championships, the 2008 World Indoor Championships and the 2008 Olympic Games without reaching the final round. His personal best time is 13.56 seconds, achieved in June 2007 in Novo Mesto. Zlatnar switched nationality and competed for Serbia at the FIBT World Championships 2012 in Bobsleigh Two man. Novo Mesto (; sl, Novo mesto; also known by other alternative names) is a city on a bend of the Krka River in the City Municipality of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia, close to the border with Croatia. The town is traditionally considered the economic and cultural centre of the historical Lower Carniola region. Name Novo Mesto was attested in historical sources in 1365 as ''Růdolfswerde'' (and as ''Rudolfswerd'' in 1392 and ''Noua Mesta'' in 1419). The FIBT World Championships 2012 took place from 13 to 26 February 2012 at the bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton track in Lake Placid, New York for the tenth time. Lake Placid had previously hosted the World Championships in 1949, 1961, 1969, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1997 (skeleton), 2003 (men's bobsleigh), and 2009.
