Quilmes
Quilmes () is a city on the coast of the Rio de la Plata, in the , on the southeast end of the Greater Buenos Aires, being some away from the urban centre area of Buenos Aires. The city was founded in 1666 and is the seat of the eponymous '' partido'' (district). History The '' Quilmes'' were a native tribe who lived in the surroundings of Tucumán. In the 17th century, after repeated attempts by the Spanish invaders to control their lands, the Quilmes were defeated and were forced to settle in a restricted colony ('' reducción'') near Buenos Aires, where the authorities could control them. The settlement was thus established in 1666 as ''Exaltación de la Santa Cruz de los Kilme''. The journey from Tucumán was made on foot, causing hundreds of Quilmes to die in the process. The colony had been abandoned by 1810 and had become a ghost town. The land was divided in parcels and the town of Quilmes was established in 1818, which would later flourish during the wave of immig ...

El Eternauta
''The Eternaut'' () is an Argentine science fiction comic created by Héctor Germán Oesterheld with artwork by Francisco Solano López. It was first published in '' Hora Cero Semanal'' between 1957 and 1959, initially as a serialized comic strip. The story is focused on a handful of survivors of a deadly alien invasion in Buenos Aires. After other failed attempts to continue the story, Oesterheld remade it in 1969, with art by Alberto Breccia and a more overt political tone. Oesterheld became the spokesman of the Montoneros guerrillas by the time he started the sequel, '' El Eternauta: segunda parte'', again with Solano López. The Dirty War against guerrilla groups forced Oesterheld to go into hiding, but he completed the story nonetheless. He was a victim of an enforced disappearance shortly after that. His widow Elsa Oesterheld sold the rights of the character to the publisher Ediciones Record, and tried later to annul the contract, leading to a lengthy copyright dispute. ...

Capturas Del Único Camino
''Capturas del Único Camino'', Damián Anache's first solo album, reveals a recording of a generative piece performed using an algorithm created by himself. The designed software (developed on Pure Data language) manipulates different kinds on sonic materials consisting of: acoustic instruments (played by the composer); sounds generated by his mouth and vocal tract (also by the same composer); sounds created by synthesis techniques; and other recordings of sounds generated by water. This interpretation algorithm involves a list of directions and actions subjected by random choices according to a model proposed for the piece's first section score (printed score included in physical editions). Furthermore, be noted that although the piece is presented as a CD Audio, the same piece is developed in other formats such as audiovisual installation. Track listing #"Paisaje primero" - 14:15 #"Paisaje propio" - 14:15 #"Paisaje artificial" - 14:15 #"Paisaje natural" - 15:08 Format, codifi ...
