Damir Zaynullin
Damir Tahir ulı Zaynullin (, ; ~ - 1 July 2007), was a 23-year-old Saint-Petersburg-born ethnic Tatar who was brutally murdered on July 1, 2007, by a gang of 17 people. Allegedly, the killers were Russian far-right skinheads. On his way to work, he was killed at 79 Stachek Prospect, near Avtovo station of Saint Petersburg Metro; not far from police precinct number 31. Security cameras seem to indicate that 17 attackers were involved, one of them a young woman. The attackers first ripped open Zaynullin's belly to prevent him from running away, then beat him severely, and finally used a broken glass bottle to cut his arteries, causing him to bleed to death. Zaynullin was buried in the Southern Cemetery of Saint Petersburg, on 7 July 2007. Eight suspects had been arrested, but they were all released without charges. White power skinheads, also known as racist skinheads and neo-Nazi skinheads, are members of a neo-Nazi, music of white skin head white supremacist and antisemitic offshoot of the skinhead subculture. Many of them are affiliated with white nationalist organizations and some of them are members of prison gangs. Avtovo (Saint Petersburg Metro)
Avtovo (, ) is a station on the Kirovsko-Vyborgskaya Line of the Saint Petersburg Metro. Designed by architect , it opened as part of the first Leningrad Metro line on November 15, 1955. In 2014, The Guardian included it on the list of 12 most beautiful metro stations in the world. Avtovo's unique and highly ornate design features columns faced with ornamental glass manufactured at the Lomonosov factory. Although the original plan envisaged using glass on all of the columns in the station, white marble was substituted on some due to time constraints. This marble was supposed to be temporary but has never been replaced. The walls are faced with white marble and adorned on the north side by a row of ornamental ventilation grilles. All-Tatar Public Center
The All-Tatar Public Center (ATPC) was a Tatar nationalist organization founded on 7 July 1988 to promote Tatarstan sovereignty and self-determination. The ATPC headquarters were in Kazan, Tatarstan. On 10 June 2022 the organization was labeled an extremist organization and dissolved by the government of Tatarstan.
