Damir Musin
Damir Musin (, born October 5, 1994) is a Russian professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing with Dizel Penza of the Supreme Hockey League (VHL). Playing career Musin made his Kontinental Hockey League debut playing with Ak Bars Kazan during the 2014–15 KHL season. In the 2018–19 season, Musin left Kazan to split the year between HC Sochi and HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk. He contributed with 7 points through 55 games before he was returned in a trade to Ak Bars Kazan, in exchange for financial compensation on May 7, 2019. Dizel Penza is an ice hockey team in Penza, Russia. They play in the VHL, the second level of Russian ice hockey. The club used to be affiliated with Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk of the KHL. The SM-liiga (marketed as just Liiga from 2013 on), (Finnish for ''League'') colloquially called the Finnish Elite League in English or FM-ligan in Swedish, is the top professional ice hockey league in Finland. It is one of the six founding leagues of the Champions Hockey League and currently allocated five spots - the maximum number - based on success in previous editions. It was created in 1975 to replace the SM-sarja, which was fundamentally an amateur league. The SM-liiga is not directly overseen by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association, but the league and association have an agreement of cooperation.
