Dambatta
Danbatta (or Dambatta or Dambarta) is a Local Government Area in Kano State, Nigeria. It is located about 49 miles north of Kano city at the Northern border of Kano state with Jigawa state. It has headquarters at Danbatta town, located on the A2 highway. It has an approximate area of 732 km and a population of 207,968 at the 2006 census. It is bordered to the north and east by Kazaure and Babura Local Government areas of Jigawa State respectively, and to the south and west by Minjibir and Makoda local Government areas of Kano state respectively. The town is the location for the Audu Bako College of Agriculture (ABCOA) and Kano State School of Basic Midwifery. Kano State
Kano State ( Hausa: ''Jihar Kano''جىِهَر كَنوُ) (Fula: Leydi Kano 𞤤𞤫𞤴𞤣𞤭 𞤳𞤢𞤲𞤮𞥅 ) is one of the 36 states of Nigeria, located in the northern region of the country. According to the national census done in 2006, Kano State is the most populous in Nigeria. The recent official estimates taken in 2016 by the National Bureau of Statistics found that Kano State was still the largest state by population in Nigeria. Audu Bako School Of Agriculture
The Audu Bako School of Agriculture in Dambatta, Kano State, Nigeria, awards diplomas in technical and vocational subjects for middle-level manpower. In 2005 the college had 400 students. The college was established in 2002 and is owned and operated by Kano State. It is accredited to offer courses in agricultural and related technology, and a pre-ND course in Science and Technology.
