Daloni Metcalfe
Daloni Metcalfe is a Welsh television and radio presenter (born 9 February 1968), currently presenting the Ffermio and Fferm Ffactor series on S4C. Early life Daloni's family were farmers breeding cattle and sheep on a small holding in the parish of Llanrhychwyn in the Conwy Valley. In her youth, she was a member of Llanrwst Young Farmers' Club. She graduated from the University of Wales Aberystwyth. The University of Wales (Welsh language, Welsh: ''Prifysgol Cymru'') is a confederal university based in Cardiff, Wales. Tudweiliog
Tudweiliog is a small, predominantly Welsh-speaking village, community and electoral ward on the northern coast of the Llŷn Peninsula in the Welsh county of Gwynedd. It is in the historic county of Caernarfonshire. The population has risen from 801 in 2001 to 970 in 2011. The community includes the small settlement of Llangwnnadl. The community covers just over . Agriculture is the main industry in Tudweiliog, with numerous farms both pastoral and arable. Etymology The village name was often spelt "Tydweiliog" until the 1980s, representing a local pronunciation /tədˈwei̯ljɔɡ/ with an obscure vowel in the first syllable. Welsh ( or ) is a Celtic language of the Brittonic subgroup that is native to the Welsh people. Royal Welsh Show
The Royal Welsh Show ( cy, Sioe Frenhinol Cymru) is organised by the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society, which was formed in 1904. It takes place in July of each year, at Llanelwedd, near Builth Wells, in Powys, Mid Wales. The first show was held in Aberystwyth in 1904, and its success led to the development of the permanent showground at Llanelwedd, first used in 1963. No show was held in 1915–18, 1940–45 nor 2020–21. The latter years saw some events going virtual. Format The show lasts for four days and attracts more than 200,000 visitors annually, boosting tourism in Wales. Aberystwyth () is a University town, university and seaside town as well as a community (Wales), community in Ceredigion, Wales. Located in the Historic counties of Wales, historic county of Cardiganshire, means "the mouth of the River Ystwyth, Ystwyth".
