Dalmatian Action (2021)
The Dalmatian Action (, DA) is minor regional political party in Croatia. Dalmatian Action, or DA, is a regionalist and autonomist party in the region of Dalmatia within Croatia, which advocates the political autonomy of Dalmatia within Croatia, including the creation of a Dalmatian regional government with a legislative assembly, with autonomy over cultural matters concerning Dalmatia. It was reactivated on December 16, 2021. New Dalmatian Action took its name from the deleted Dalmatian Action from the 1990s, known for its conflict with the HDZ and then Croatian President Franjo Tuđman. That party was dissolved in 2003 by the decision of the Ministry of Justice. Autonomism or ''autonomismo'', also known as autonomist Marxism or autonomous Marxism, is an anti-capitalist social movement and Marxist-based theoretical current that first emerged in Italy in the 1960s from workerism (). Later, post-Marxist and anarchist tendencies became significant, after influence from the Situationists, the failure of Italian far-left movements in the 1970s, and the emergence of a number of important theorists including Antonio Negri, who had contributed to the 1969 founding of Potere Operaio, as well as Mario Tronti, Paolo Virno, and Franco Berardi. Dalmatianism
Dalmatian identity, or sometimes also Dalmatianism, Dalmatianness or Dalmatian nationalism, refers to the historical nationalism or patriotism of Dalmatians and Dalmatian culture. There were significant Dalmatian nationalists in the 19th century, but Dalmatian regional nationalism faded in significance over time in favor of ethnic nationalism. 17th century Dalmatian poet Jerolim Kavanjin (''Girolamo Cavagnini'') exhibited Dalmatianism, identifying himself as "Dalmatian" and calling Dalmatia his homeland, which John Fine interprets not to have been a nationalist notion. Dalmatian National Party (1990)
The Dalmatian National Party (, DNS) was a political party founded in the region of Dalmatia within Croatia. It was a radical Regionalism (politics), regionalist party run by citizens who called Dalmatia their homeland.Janusz Bugajski. Autonomist Party (Dalmatia)
The Autonomist Party (; ) was an Italian-Dalmatianist political party in the Dalmatian political scene, that existed for around 70 years of the 19th century and until World War I. Its goal was to maintain the autonomy of the Kingdom of Dalmatia within the Austro-Hungarian Empire, as opposed to the unification with the Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia. The Autonomist Party has been accused of secretly having been a pro-Italian movement due to their defense of the rights of ethnic Italians in Dalmatia.Maura Hametz.
