Dallas Taylor (vocalist)
Dallas Taliaferro Taylor (born May 17, 1980) is an American musician who is the vocalist for the heavy metal band Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. He is the former vocalist and founder of the American metalcore band Underoath. He performed on three Underoath albums: '' Act of Depression'', '' Cries of the Past'', and '' The Changing of Times''. In 2003, Dallas left Underoath, and was replaced by Spencer Chamberlain.Absolute Punk Video Interviews He was born in Ocala, Florida. Although no longer a member, Dallas has said in an interview that he is very good friends with the Underoath lead vocalist Chamberlain and was in a video with some Underoath members having fun at a recording studio in Atlanta, Georgia. The Glorious Unseen is a Christian rock/ contemporary worship band from Nashville, Tennessee. Before signing with BEC Recordings, lead vocalist Ben Crist wrote and played many of the band's songs in his home church, The Anchor Fellowship. ''III'' is the third studio album by Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. It was released June 23, 2009, and all pre-orders shipped on June 18, 2009. The first single from the album is Just A Shock, which was uploaded to the band's MySpace as a promo for the album. About a week before the album's release another song was released to the public: Step Up (I'm On It). On June 19 the album was leaked in its entirety onto the internet. The song "Harvest Moon Hanging" is a reference to the Harvest Moon from the ''Bone'' series (most notably collection six, ''Old Man's Cave''). The album debuted at number 71 on the Billboard 200 in its first week of release.
