Dale Cassens
Kenneth Dale Cassens (April 8, 1935 – December 17, 1987) was an American politician and school board member in the state of Florida. Cassens was born in Fort Pierce, Florida, in 1935. A citrus farmer and businessman, he is an alumnus of the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1957. Fort Pierce is a city in and the county seat of St. Lucie County, Florida, United States. The city is part of the Treasure Coast region of Atlantic Coast Florida. It is also known as the Sunrise City, sister to San Francisco, California, the Sunset City. Per the 2020 census, the population was 47,297. A Bachelor of Science (BS, BSc, SB, or ScB; from the Latin ') is a bachelor's degree awarded for programs that generally last three to five years. The first university to admit a student to the degree of Bachelor of Science was the University of London in 1860. In the United States, the Lawrence Scientific School first conferred the degree in 1851, followed by the University of Michigan in 1855.
