Dalano Banton
Dalano Banton ( ; born November 7, 1999), nicknamed D.B. Hooper, is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Banton's selection with the 46th overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft by the Toronto Raptors made him the first Canadian player to be drafted by the Canadian franchise. Early life Banton is the son of a Jamaican father and Canadian mother. He grew up in the Mount Olive area in the Rexdale neighbourhood of Toronto. Kansas State Wildcats Men's Basketball
The Kansas State Wildcats men's basketball team represents Kansas State University in college basketball competition. The program is classified in the NCAA Division I, and is a member of the Big 12 Conference. The head coach is Jerome Tang. The program began competition in 1902. In education in the United States, reclassification or reclassing is the assignment of a student's high school (secondary school) graduation class to either a year earlier or later than their original. For youth sports, young athletes, graduating a year earlier frees them to start their college sports career, with the hope of playing professionally sooner. DeMar Darnell DeRozan (born August 7, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the USC Trojans and was selected ninth overall by the Toronto Raptors in the 2009 NBA draft.
