Dalama
Dalama is a neighbourhood of the municipality and district of Efeler, Aydın Province, Turkey. Its population is 1,561 (2022). Before the 2013 reorganisation, it was a town (''belde''). It is south east of Aydın. The settlement was founded about 200 years ago by Yörüks (nomadik Turkmens) who used to form ''pazar'' (open market) in the vicinity. Yörük Ali Efe
Yörük Ali Efe (1886 – 23 September 1951) was a Turkish people, Turkish guerrilla leader in the Ottoman Empire, and an officer in the Turkish Army during the Turkish War of Independence. He was an important leader in Kuva-yi Milliye of the Aegean Region. After the declaration of republic he resigned from his office and worked as a farmer and industrialist. He was one of the last Zeibeks, Zeybeks in Turkish history. Early years Ali was born in Kavaklı, Sultanhisar, Kavaklı, a village near Sultanhisar in Aydın, in 1886. His father, İbrahimoğlu Abdi, belonged to the Sarıtekeli clan, and his mother Fatma, to the Atmaca clan, both Yörük clans. His father died when he was an infant. During his childhood, he was influenced by Atçalı Kel Mehmet Efe and wanted to become a Zeibeks, Zeybek. In 1916, he was recruited into the Ottoman Army and participated in the Caucasus Campaign. Efeler
Efeler is a municipality and district of Aydın Province, Turkey. Its area is 124 km2, and its population is 303,772 (2022). The district was established as a part of the 2013 local government reorganisation from the former central district of Aydın. The name Aydın was reserved for the metropolitan municipality. Efeler is the plural of the title ''Efe'' and it refers to the irregular soldiers from the Aegean Region who fought during the Turkish War of Independence. Belde
Belde (literally "town", also known as ''kasaba'') means "large village with a municipality" in Turkish language, Turkish. All Turkish province centers and district centers have municipalities, but the Villages of Turkey, villages are usually too small to have municipalities. The population in some villages may exceed 2000 and in such villages a small municipality may be established depending on residents' choice. Such villages are called ''belde''. Up to 2014 the number of ''belde'' municipalities was about 1400. On 30 March 2014 by the act no. 6360 all villages (those with and without municipality) were included in the urban fabric of the district municipalities in 30 provinces. Thus ''belde'' municipalities in 30 provinces were abolished. The number of abolished ''belde'' municipalities is 1040. Aydın ( ''EYE-din''; ; formerly named ''Güzelhisar; Greek: Τράλλεις)'' is a city in and the seat of Aydın Province in Turkey's Aegean Region. Oghuz Turk
The Oghuz Turks ( Middle Turkic: , ) were a western Turkic people who spoke the Oghuz branch of the Turkic language family.
