Dagny Norvoll Sandvik (born 23 July 1990), known mononymously as Dagny, is a Norway, Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her music is Pop music, pop-based, incorporating elements of Indie pop, indie, Dance-pop, dance, synth-pop, electropop and disco. She has released two studio albums, ''Strangers / Lovers'' (2020) and ''Elle'' (2024), and one EP, ''Ultraviolet'' (2016). Her single "Somebody" won Song of the Year at the P3 Gull#P3 Gull 2020, 2020 P3 Gull, and her 2017 track "Love You Like That" was the basis for Katy Perry's "Never Really Over" (2019). Øystein Norvoll (born 26 June 1954 in Tromsø, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (guitar). He won the "Gjett på Jazz", and annual jazz competition, in 1973. Career Norvoll was early inspired by the West Coast jazz guitarists Barney Kessel and Jim Hall. He was chairman of the Nordnorsk Jazzforum, og sentral i dennes utgivelse av ''Distant Reports'' med nordnorsk jazz (Gemini, 2001). Marit Sandvik (born 19 July 1956) is a Norwegian jazz singer. She is notable for winning the Stubøprisen award, given to a Norwegian jazz singer, in 1993, and the Nordlysprisen award, given to a contributor to the music of Northern Norway, in 2011. She was born in Harstad. Career Sandvik has participated in numerous vocal and jazz groups in Harstad, Trondheim and Tromsø. In 1993, Sandvik established the sextet "Bossa Nordpå" including Helge Sveen, Henning Gravrok, Øystein Norvoll, Oddmund Finnseth and Finn Sletten. Bergenfest (initiated in 1993 under the name OleBlues) is an annual music festival held in the month of June, in Bergen, Norway, at the Bergenhus Fortress. History It started out as an intimate blues and Americana festival, situated at various venues in the city center of Bergen. Stavernfestivalen
Stavernfestivalen is an annual music festival held in the month of July, in Stavern, Norway, at the Larvik Golf Arena. The first-ever Stavernfestivalen festival took place in 2001, with 175 attendees. The following year, the festival was organised over two days, and in 2011, for three days. By 2019, approximately 75,000 people attended the celebration of music. Relocation to the Larvik Golf Arena Up until 2014, the festival was arranged at Skråvika near Minnehallen in Stavern. In 2015, it relocated to the Larvik Golf Arena – a much larger, more spacious area where the organisers could focus on further developing and improving the overall experience.
