Dagny (film)
''Dagny'' is a 1977 Norway, Norwegian-Poland, Polish historical drama film directed by . It is narrated by, among others, Lise Fjeldstad, Daniel Olbrychski, Per Oscarsson and Nils Ole Oftebro. The subject of the film is the Norwegian writer Dagny Juel (Fjeldstad), and her relationship to such men as Stanisław Przybyszewski (Olbrychski), Edvard Munch (Oftebro) and August Strindberg (Oscarsson). Plot Dagny Juell, the daughter of a doctor, leaves Kongsvinger for Berlin to study music, and becomes the mistress of famous painter Edvard Munch. Jan Kasprowicz
Jan Kasprowicz (12 December 1860 – 1 August 1926) was a Polish poet, playwright, critic and translator; a foremost representative of Young Poland. Biography Kasprowicz was born in the village of Szymborze (now part of Inowrocław) within the Province of Posen, to an illiterate peasant family. From 1870 he studied in Prussian '' gymnasia'' in Inowrazlaw (Inowrocław), Posen (Poznań), Oppeln (Opole), Ratibor (Racibórz), and in 1884 graduated from Saint Mary Magdalene Gymnasium in Poznań. He studied philosophy and literature in German universities in Leipzig and Breslau. During his studies he began having articles and poetry published, working with various Polish magazines. For his activities in socialist circles he was twice arrested by Prussian police and spent half a year in prison. Jerzy Bińczycki
Jerzy Bińczycki (6 September 1937 – 2 October 1998) was a Polish stage and film actor. He appeared in 50 films between 1962 and 1998. He starred in the 1975 film ''Nights and Days'', which was entered into the 26th Berlin International Film Festival. Bińczycki was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in 1989. He is buried at the Rakowicki Cemetery in Kraków.
