Skien
Skien () is a city and municipality in Vestfold og Telemark county in Norway. In modern times it is regarded as part of the traditional region of Grenland, although historically it belonged to Grenmar/Skiensfjorden, while Grenland referred the Norsjø area and Bø. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Skien. Skien is also the capital of Vestfold og Telemark county. Idrettsforeningen Herkules is a Norwegian multi-sports club from Skien, Telemark. It is organized as an alliance club with independent sections for association football, team handball, track and field athletics, gymnastics, Nordic skiing and speed skating. Pors Fotball is a Norwegian football club from Porsgrunn, currently playing in the 3. divisjon. Pors plays in blue jerseys, and their home ground is Pors Stadion. Notable former players include Jan Halvor Halvorsen and Erik Pedersen. History The club was founded on 25 May 1905 under the name ''Lyn'', and changed its name to ''IF Pors'' in 1914 because the original name was already in use.
