Daegu High School is a Korean public high school located in Daegu, South Korea. The school was appointed as a Subject-oriented & Liberal public high school in 2009. In 2017, the number of alumni exceeded 31,000. History The school was approved on 12 March 1958. The digital library was installed on 4 October 2001. Daegu
Daegu (, , literally 'large hill', 대구광역시), formerly spelled Taegu and officially known as the Daegu Metropolitan City, is a city in South Korea. It is the third-largest urban agglomeration in South Korea after Seoul and Busan; it is the third-largest List of special cities of South Korea#List of metropolitan cities, official metropolitan area in the nation with over 2.5 million residents; and the second-largest city after Busan in the Yeongnam Regions of Korea, region in southeastern Korean Peninsula. Walton Walker
Walton Harris Walker (December 3, 1889 – December 23, 1950) was a United States Army four-star general who served with distinction in World War I, World War II, and the Korean War, where he commanded the Eighth United States Army before dying in a jeep accident. He received two Distinguished Service Crosses for extraordinary heroism in World War II and the Korean War. Early life Walker was born in Belton, Texas, on December 3, 1889. His parents, Sam and Lydia Walker were both college graduates whose fathers had been officers in the Confederate Army. His father, a merchant, taught him how to ride a horse and to hunt and shoot. He graduated from the Wedemeyer Academy, a school which operated in Belton from 1886 to 1911.
