''Daadi Maa'' () is a 1966 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by L. V. Prasad and starring Ashok Kumar, Bina Rai, Mumtaz (Indian actress), Mumtaz, Tanuja and Durga Khote. Plot Parvati (Bina Rai) hopes to repair the relationship between her husband Raja Pratap Rai (Ashok Kumar) and his stepmother. Ashok Kumar
Ashok Kumar (born Kumudlal Ganguly; 13 October 1911 – 10 December 2001), was an Indian actor who attained iconic status in Indian cinema. He is regarded as one of the greatest actors of Indian cinema. He is considered to be the first Super-star of Indian cinema as well as the first lead actor to play an anti-hero. Purnima Das Verma (born Meherbhano Mohammad Ali; 2 March, 1934 — 14 August, 2013) was an Indian actress who worked predominantly in Hindi-language films. She was the aunt of director Mahesh Bhatt and grandmother of actor Emraan Hashmi. Personal life Meherbano Mohammad Ali was born on 2 March, 1934. Her elder sister, Shirin, is the mother of directors Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt. ''Shankar's Weekly'' was an Indian satirical magazine published between 1948 and 1975. It was founded and run by Keshav Shankar Pillai, a pioneering political cartoonist. Mahendra Kapoor (9 January 1934 – 27 September 2008) was an Indian playback singer.
