Dealer Team Vauxhall
Dealer Team Vauxhall, commonly known as DTV, was a motorsport organisation. In the absence of any official motorsport sponsorship by General Motors globally, and by its Vauxhall Motors subsidiary specifically, a group of London-based Vauxhall dealers decided to start an organisation to financially support racing and rallying of Vauxhall cars. It was established in January 1971. Initially the racing program was run by Bill Blydenstein, an engine tuner and racing driver, and the rallying program by Chris Coburn. In 1976 Blydenstein became responsible for both racing and rallying. From 1978 on, the focus was entirely on rallying. Vauxhall models developed by DTV for racing and rallying include the Viva, Firenza, Magnum, Victor, and Chevette. Miro (formerly named Democracy Player or DTV) is an audio, video player and Internet television application developed by the Participatory Culture Foundation. It runs on Microsoft Windows, macOS, FreeBSD and Linux and supports most known video file formats. It offers both audio and video, some in HD quality. The Participatory Culture Foundation no longer develops Miro. The last version (6.0) was released in 2013 and is no longer functioning correctly because of changes to the YouTube API. Deer tick virus (DTV) is a virus in the genus '' Flavivirus'' spread via ticks that causes encephalitis. Taxonomy DTV closely resembles Powassan virus (to which it has 84% nucleotide sequence identity and 94% amino acid sequence identity). Due to their close similarities, DTV is also called Powassan virus lineage II. The DTV lineage is presumed to be maintained between '' Ixodes scapularis'', or deer ticks, and the white-footed mouse ('' Peromyscus leucopus''). Epidemiology DTV has a strong prevalence in the northeastern and north central part of the United States, although little to no human infections have been reported. ''D-TV'' is a music video television series produced by Charles Braverman and edited by Ted Herrmann. Premiering on May 5, 1984 on the Disney Channel, the series combined both classic and contemporary popular music with various footage of vintage animated shorts and feature films from The Walt Disney Company, created out of the trend of music videos on cable channel MTV, which inspired the name of this series.
