DSM-Firmenich
dsm-firmenich was formed on 20 April 2023 through the merger of Royal DSM and the Swiss company Firmenich. Activities dsm-firmenich has over 300 locations in more than sixty countries. In 2024, the company achieved a turnover of € 12.8 billion. The activities are divided into four parts, with the abbreviations of these in brackets: Perfumery & Beauty (P&B), raw materials for personal care products; Health, nutrition and care (HNC), health products especially in the field of nutrition; Taste, Texture and Health (TTH), Food and Beverage Ingredients; Animal Nutrition and Health (ANH), animal feed ingredients and health. Turnover is fairly evenly distributed across these four activities, although HNC is the smallest of the four measured by turnover. dsm-firmenich decided to divest the ANH business unit in February 2024. Koninklijke DSM N.V. (Royal DSM, commonly known as DSM, which is the acronym for ''Dutch State Mines''), was a Dutch multinational corporation active in the fields of health, nutrition and materials. Firmenich SA was a Swiss company in the fragrance and flavor business. The company has created perfumes for over 125 years and produced a number of well-known flavors.
