DG (footballer)
Douglas da Silva Teixeira (born 29 March 2001), known as Douglas or DG, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a left back for Avaí, on loan from Barra. Club career A Resende youth graduate, DG made his first team debut on 28 June 2020, coming on as a late substitute in a 2–0 Campeonato Carioca away win over Madureira. On 4 February 2022, he signed a new three-year contract with the club. DG scored his first senior goal on 20 March 2022, netting a last-minute winner in a 1–0 away success over Portuguesa-RJ. On 11 April, he moved on loan to Botafogo, being initially assigned to the under-23 squad. DG made his first team debut for ''Bota'' on 14 July 2022, playing the last 15 minutes in a 2–0 home loss against América Mineiro. Tucuruí
Tucuruí is a municipality in the state of Pará in the Northern region of Brazil. The city is served by Tucuruí Airport. The name Tucuruí is a Tupi word that means "river of ants" or "river of locusts". It is the concatenation of two Tupi words: tukura (ants, locusts) and 'y (water). Copa Rio (state Cup)
The Copa Rio () is a regional cup competition for football clubs in the Rio de Janeiro state. It is run by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. Volta Redonda has the record for most trophies won. History The competition was founded in 1991 by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation to decide one of the Rio de Janeiro's Copa do Brasil representatives of the following year (the other being the Campeonato Carioca champion). If the state champion had also won Copa Rio, the representative would have been the tournament runner-up. However, in 1995 the Brazilian Football Confederation established the possibility of a club being invited to dispute Copa do Brasil, and, as a consequence of this, Copa Rio ended up not being interesting for the big teams, so it was discontinued.
