Document Content Architecture, or DCA for short, is a standard developed by IBM for text documents in the early 1980s. DCA was used on Mainframe computer, mainframe and IBM i systems and formed the basis of DisplayWrite's file format. DCA was later extended as MODCA, MO:DCA (Mixed Object Document Content Architecture), which added embedded Data file, data files. The original purpose of DCA was to provide a common document format that could be used across multiple IBM word processing platforms, such as the IBM PC, IBM mainframes, the IBM Displaywriter System, Displaywriter System, and the IBM 5520, IBM 5520 Administrative System. They have the shape of an upward-pointing cone, with the drone density being lower towards the top. A variable-gain (VGA) or voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA) is an electronic amplifier that varies its gain depending on a control voltage (often abbreviated CV). VCAs have many applications, including audio level compression, synthesizers and amplitude modulation. A crude example is a typical inverting op-amp configuration with a light-dependent resistor (LDR) in the feedback loop.
