Final Fantasy IX
is a 2000 role-playing video game developed and published by Square for the PlayStation video game console. It is the ninth game in the main ''Final Fantasy'' series. The plot focuses on a war between nations in a medieval fantasy world called Gaia. Players follow a thief named Zidane Tribal who kidnaps princess Garnet Til Alexandros XVII as part of a ploy by the neighboring nation of Lindblum. He joins Garnet and a growing cast of characters on a quest to take down her mother, Queen Brahne of Alexandria, who started the war. Game development occurred in parallel with ''Final Fantasy VIII''. Dali, Cyprus
Dali (or Dhali; el, Δάλι; tr, Dali) is a large village in Cyprus, located south east of the capital Nicosia and close to the ancient city of Idalion. In 2001, it had a population of 5,834. By 2011, the population had almost doubled to 10,466. Ancient Idalion Idalium was an ancient city on place of modern Dali, Nicosia District. The city was founded on the copper trade in the 3rd millennium BC. Recent excavations have uncovered major buildings on the site which are open to visitors. A new museum is also near to the site. Xiaguan (), formerly romanized as Hsiakwan, is a subdistrict at the southern end of Erhai Lake in Dali Prefecture, Yunnan, China. Xiaguan has a population of 146,517 (2020) and is the modern centre of the county-level city of Dali. Xiaguan has been the principal point of entry for the region since the creation of the Burma Road and has become the major city and industrial centre of the county.
