D. J. Richardson
Dietrich James "D. J." Richardson (born February 11, 1991) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Aix Maurienne Savoie Basket of the LNB Pro B. He attended Peoria Central for his first three years of high school and transferred to Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada for his senior year. He played collegiately at the University of Illinois. High school As a junior at Peoria Central Richardson was selected to first-team All-State by the Champaign-Urbana News-Gazette and second-team All-State by the AP and Chicago Sun-Times. In his senior year at Findlay College Prep, Richardson, along with Texas recruit Avery Bradley, led the Findlay College Prep Pilots to a high school national championship after beating Oak Hill 74-66 and finishing their season 33-0. Brandon Stephan Paul (born April 30, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for Elan Chalon of the French LNB Pro A. During his senior year at Warren Township High School, Paul was named Illinois Mr. Basketball for 2009. Paul played college basketball for the University of Illinois and became only the second player in program history to record 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists and 100 steals. Findlay Prep is a former high school basketball program located in Henderson, Nevada. History The program was created in 2006 by local businessman Cliff Findlay, who owns several car dealerships in the Las Vegas area. Despite closing its high school in 2010 due to the local economic downturn, the Findlay Prep players took high school classes at Henderson International School. Findlay was part of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA), but they were ineligible to compete in state championships because they were allowed to recruit from outside the state. Instead, they competed for National High School Invitational (NHSI) championships, an 8 team tournament featuring the top high school teams in the country played in New York.
