''D.Gray-man'' is a Japanese anime television series based on the manga series of the same name by Katsura Hoshino. Set in an alternate 19th century, it tells the story of a young Allen Walker, who joins an organization of exorcists named the Black Order. They use an ancient substance, Innocence, to combat a man known as the Millennium Earl and his demonic army of Akuma who intend to destroy humanity. The series was produced by TMS Entertainment and broadcast for 103 episodes on TV Tokyo from October 2006 to September 2008. A 13-episode sequel series, ''D.Gray-man Hallow'', also produced by TMS Entertainment aired from July to September 2016. Lenalee Lee
is a fictional character in the manga series ''D.Gray-man'', created by Japanese writer and artist Katsura Hoshino. Within the series, set in a fictional 19th century, Lenalee is an exorcist of the Black Order organization tasked with destroying demonic beings called Akuma created by the Millennium Earl, and aiding the Black Order in its fight against the Earl's group, the Noah Family. To facilitate this, she uses a type of weapon called "Innocence" that, in her case, takes the shape of a pair of boots. Lenalee was originally forced to become an exorcist when she was a child, but ended up appreciating it after her older brother, Komui Lee, moved to the Black Order to avoid being left, alone and at the same time became friends with all the staff. Cross Marian
is a fictional character who appears in Katsura Hoshino's manga ''D.Gray-man''. Cross is an exorcist in charge of eliminating creatures known as Akumas alongside using the power of the Innocence. The abusive teacher of the series' main character, Allen Walker, Cross initially appears in flashbacks of the story that involve his poor treatment towards the young exorcist until he appears in an area known as Noah's Ark to save his student from a descendant of the Noah clan. Shortly afterwards, the reasons for Cross' disappearance are explained, as it is mentioned that he is associated with a former Noah, who is also connected with Allen. Katsura Hoshino
is a Japanese manga artist from Shiga Prefecture. She made her debut in July 2003 with the publication of her first manga series ''Continue'' and is known for her work, ''D.Gray-man'', which began serialization in Shueisha's ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' in May 2004.
