D.A.V. College, Lahore
D.A.V. College (Lahore), Ambala City is a college in Ambala, Haryana, India. It was started in 1886 in Lahore, Punjab Province (British India). After partition it moved to present campus of Ambala in 1948. It is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Anand Swarup (6 August 1881 – 24 June 1937), honorifically known as Param Guru Huzur Sahab Ji Maharaj, was the founder of Dayalbagh and the fifth revered leader, or Sant Satguru of Radhasoami faith also known as Radhasoami Satsang Dayalbagh and Spritual Head of Radhasoami Satsang Sabha. Chetan Sharma (born 3 January 1966) is an Indian former cricket player who played Tests and ODIs as a fast bowler for Indian cricket team. Krishan Kant (28 February 1927 – 27 July 2002) was an Indian politician who served as the vice president of India from 1997 until his death in 2002. Prior to his vice presidency, Kant was the governor of Andhra Pradesh from 1990 to 1997. Dr. Salig Ram (15 August 1909 – 4 November 1986; also written as Dr. Saligram) was a medical doctor, freedom fighter, and politician from Himachal Pradesh, India. Thakur Devi Singh (born c. 1922 - died 1989) was a politician from Himachal Pradesh, India. He was among the early major political figures from the Scheduled Tribes of Himachal Pradesh. Personal life Singh belonged to the Lahaul valley in the present-day Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh.
