Catalonia National Football Team
The Catalonia national football team () is the official football team of Catalonia. It is organised by the Catalan Football Federation, founded in 1900. The team has been referred to by various names including , and the Catalan XI. As the Catalan Federation is affiliated with the Royal Spanish Football Federation as one of the several Spanish regional football federations, Catalonia cannot be affiliated with either FIFA or UEFA as a national member association and is therefore not allowed to participate in official competitions for national teams such as the FIFA World Cup or the UEFA European Championship. Other than in certain cases where other nationalities are involved, Catalan players are full Spanish citizens who are eligible to play for Spain, and often do. Catalan Football Federation
The Catalan Football Federation (, ; FCF) is the Association football, football association responsible for administering football in Catalonia. It was formed on 11 November 1900 as the Football Associació de Catalunya (). It was the first football association founded in Football in Spain, Spain. The first president was Eduard Alesson and the original members included FC Barcelona, Català SC, Hispania AC and RCD Espanyol, Sociedad Española de Football. Royal Spanish Football Federation
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (; RFEF) is the governing body of football in Spain. Founded on 29 September 1913, it is based in La Ciudad del Fútbol of Las Rozas de Madrid, Las Rozas, a municipality near Madrid. RFEF organizes the national cup competitions (Copa del Rey, Copa de S.M. el Rey and Supercopa de España) and administers the competition committee of the Campeonato Nacional de Liga (La Liga, Primera División and Segunda División), including the handling of the trophy, even though they are organized by Liga de Fútbol Profesional, LaLiga. Carles Comamala
Carles Comamala López-Del Pan (17 April 1889 – 4 August 1983) was an orthopedic surgeon by profession and a football player for Barcelona between 1903 and 1911. He was a director of Barcelona in 1909–1911. Early life and career Born in Madrid, the capital of Spain, to a Basque father and a Canarian mother. In 1903, he joined Barcelona, when his friend Joan Gamper, president of FC Barcelona who had founded the club in 1899, retired. Comamala was a great striker who stood out for his side, scoring throughout his long career. He scored a total of 172 goals in 154 games for the club.
