UiTM United Football Club is a Malaysian professional association football, football club based in Shah Alam, Selangor. The club currently plays in the Malaysia A2 Amateur League. Founded in 2008, their home ground is 10,000-seater UiTM Stadium. The club is widely known as ''The Lion Troops''. The team is under the jurisdiction of the Universiti Teknologi MARA, a Malaysian public university based in Shah Alam, Shah Alam, Selangor. History Founded in 2008, UiTM FC made club debut into Malaysian football by joining the third-tier league Malaysia FAM League in 2009 Malaysia FAM League, 2009. Stadium UiTM is a multi-purpose stadium located at Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Its capacity is 10,000. The stadium was built for Universiti Teknologi MARA and the UiTM F.C., UiTM Football Club. It can also be used as a Rugby football, rugby pitch. UiTM Stadium has hosted a Malaysia national football team match against Maldives national football team, Maldives, on 26 November 2009. Kelab Bolasepak Staff Universiti Sains Malaysia (KBSUSM) or USM Staff FC or USM FC was a Malaysia football club team, formerly competing in Malaysia Premier League. The team was under the jurisdiction of Universiti Sains Malaysia, a Malaysian public university based in Georgetown, Penang. The 2020 Malaysia Super League (), known as the CIMB Bank Liga Super Malaysia 2020 for sponsorship reasons, was the 17th season of the Malaysia Super League, the top-tier professional football league in Malaysia. Johor Darul Ta'zim were the defending champions, having won their sixth title the previous season. The first transfer window was from 16 January to 15 March 2020. On 13 March 2020, it was announced that the league would be suspended indefinitely, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 2017 Malaysia Cup
The 2017 Malaysia Cup ( Malay: ''Piala Malaysia 2017'') was the 91st edition of the Malaysia Cup tournament organised by Football Association of Malaysia. The 2017 Malaysia Cup began on August with a preliminary round. A total of 16 teams took part in the competition. The teams were divided into four groups, each containing four teams. The group leaders and runners-up teams in the groups after six matches qualified to the quarterfinals. Kedah were the defending champions. The Malaysia Cup (), formerly known as Malaya Cup, is an annual football tournament in Malaysia, held at the end of the calendar year. The cup was first held in 1921.
