The Edge (radio Station)
The Edge is a youth-oriented New Zealand entertainment brand consisting of a national radio network and an entertainment website. It is owned and operated by MediaWorks New Zealand. It previously had a TV channel, The Edge TV. The station was founded in Hamilton, New Zealand, Hamilton in 1994 and is now based in Auckland; it broadcasts nationwide over multiple channels. Research International audience surveys suggest The Edge has approximately 581,200 listeners across all markets that are surveyed and the station makes up 7.0% of the New Zealand radio market. The network is most successful in Waikato, Rotorua and Nelson, New Zealand, Nelson surveys and in the 15–19 and 10–14 female demographics, whereas rival station ZM (New Zealand), ZM is most popular with listeners aged between 20 and 34. Three (), stylised as +HR=E, is a New Zealand nationwide television channel. Launched on 26 November 1989 as TV3, it was New Zealand's first privately owned television channel. The channel currently broadcasts nationally (with regional advertising targeting four markets) in digital free-to-air form via the state-owned Kordia on terrestrial and satellite. Ben Boyce
Ben Boyce is a New Zealand television and radio personality and comedian best known as the host of TV shows '' Pulp Sport'', '' Wanna-Ben'' and '' Jono and Ben'' on TV3. Biography Boyce is a graduate of the New Zealand Broadcasting School at CPIT (now Ara Institute of Canterbury). Jason Reeves (born May 1976, Hastings) is a radio broadcaster and television presenter from New Zealand. He currently co-hosts the breakfast show on The Coast (New Zealand). He has previously worked for other stations such as Auckland's Classic Hits 97.4, The Edge and for ZM. Career Reeves began his radio career in 1994 at the age of 18 after leaving Karamu High School, and worked on Hot 93FM in Hawkes Bay.
