TV4 (Polish TV Channel)
TV4 is a Polish free-to-air television channel originally owned by :pl:Polskie Media, Polskie Media. It was founded through the merger of Nasza TV and Polsat 2 and started broadcasting on 1 April 2000. In August 2013, Polskie Media was acquired by Telewizja Polsat, and since 2014, Polsat became a direct broadcaster of TV4. History TV4 was established on 1 April 2000 as a result of the merger of Nasza TV (1998–2000) and Polsat 2 in its initial format (1997–2000). From the beginning of TV4's existence until 2005, the TV Odra stations started relaying TV4, thus extending the network of transmitters. TV4 (Swedish TV Channel)
TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. The two channels of Sveriges Television (SVT) lost more and more viewers for a couple of years. After making schedule changes in 2001, SVT1 had practically the same numbers of viewers as TV4. From 2004 to 2019, the TV4 Group was a fully active member of the European Broadcasting Union. TV4 AB (formerly Nordisk Television AB; previously Trade name, traded as ) is a Swedish media company owned by Telia Company through TV4 Media (formerly known as Bonnier Broadcasting). The company owns the largest commercial television channel in Sweden, TV4 (Sweden), TV4. From 2007 until 2019, TV4 AB was owned by Bonnier Group, Bonnier, with Bonnier Broadcasting AB being its parent since 2016. Four (stylised as FOUR; formerly TV4) was the second New Zealand television channel owned and operated by MediaWorks New Zealand, broadcast via the state-owned Kordia transmission network. The channel launched on 29 June 1997 as TV4 and was replaced by C4 (New Zealand TV channel), C4 on 3 October 2003. It was relaunched on 6 February 2011 as a separate channel from C4.
