PlusLiga
The PlusLiga is the highest level of men's volleyball in Poland, a professional league competition featuring volleyball clubs located in this country. It is overseen by Polska Liga Siatkówki SA (PLS SA). It is currently a 14 teams league from October to April/May. The regular season is followed by playoffs, with the winner earning the Polish Championship (). It is one of the best volleyball leagues in Europe, being highly ranked in the international competitions. The league in its current form was founded in 2000 and was originally known as Polska Liga Siatkówki ''(Polish Volleyball League)''. Since 2008 it is named PlusLiga after a mobile phone network brand, Plus. Jastrzębski Węgiel, is a professional men's volleyball club based in Jastrzębie-Zdrój in southern Poland, founded in 1961. They compete in the Polish PlusLiga. Since foundation the club has been closely linked to coal mining in the region. Resovia (volleyball)
Resovia, officially known for sponsorship reasons as Asseco Resovia, is a professional men's volleyball club based in Rzeszów in southeastern Poland, founded in 1937. They compete in the Polish PlusLiga. Initially part of the Resovia (sports club), Resovia multi-sports club founded 1905, it has operated independently since 2006. The club has won seven Polish Champion titles and three national cups. They won four league titles in the 1970s and the first title in the 21st century in 2011–12 PlusLiga, 2012, which put an end to Skra Bełchatów's dominance in the PlusLiga which lasted for 7 consecutive seasons. ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, is a professional men's volleyball club based in Kędzierzyn-Koźle in southern Poland, founded in 1994. They compete in the Polish PlusLiga. ZAKSA have won 9 domestic league titles, 10 national cups, and three CEV Champions League, Champions League titles, which makes them one of the most successful clubs in Poland. 2024–25 PlusLiga
The 2024–25 PlusLiga was the 89th season of the PlusLiga, Polish Volleyball Championship, the 72nd season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish volleyball league system since its establishment in 1954, and the 25th season as a professional league. The league is operated by the Polish Volleyball League SA (). This season was composed of 16 teams. The regular season was played as a round-robin tournament. Each team played a total of 30 matches, half at home and half away. The season started on 13 September 2024 and concluded on 10 May 2025. LKPS Lublin, Bogdanka LUK Lublin claimed their maiden Polish Champions title, beating Warta Zawiercie (volleyball), Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie in the finals, and therefore becoming only the 5th club in PlusLiga history to have won the league.
