Pacific Four Series
The Pacific Four Series is an international rugby union competition that is sanctioned by World Rugby. It is contested between four women's national teams — Australia women's national rugby union team, Australia, Canada women's national rugby union team, Canada, New Zealand women's national rugby union team, New Zealand, and the United States women's national rugby union team, United States. It began in 2021 and was initially contested between Canada women's national rugby union team, Canada and the United States women's national rugby union team, United States. They were later joined by Australia women's national rugby union team, Australia and New Zealand women's national rugby union team, New Zealand in 2022. 2025 Pacific Four Series
The 2025 Pacific Four Series was the fifth edition of the Pacific Four Series, an international women's rugby union tournament. Matches took place from the 3 to 24 May over two continents and provided all four teams with important preparation ahead of the Women's Rugby World Cup in England. Canada were the reigning champions and were defending their title in this tournament. New Zealand reclaimed the Pacific Four Series after winning against the United States in the final match. 2023 Pacific Four Series
The 2023 Pacific Four Series was the third edition of the Pacific Four Series, an international women's rugby union tournament that served as one of the principal qualification routes for the top two tiers of WXV. 2021 Pacific Four Series
The 2021 Pacific Four Series was the first edition of the Pacific Four Series. The soft launch of the competition involved only Canada and the United States contesting two matches in Glendale, Colorado. The winner was determined on aggregate score. Canada won the two matches on an aggregate of 22–41. Australia and New Zealand were initially confirmed to join the competition, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, World Rugby decided to go ahead with the soft launch with Australia and New Zealand joining in 2022. 2022 Pacific Four Series
The 2022 Pacific Four Series was the second edition of the Pacific Four Series. The competition was hosted by New Zealand from 6 to 18 June. Matches were played at two of the venues which hosted the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup – The Trusts Arena in West Auckland and the Semenoff Stadium in Whangārei. New Zealand won their first series title after defeating the United States 50–6 in the final round. Rugby Americas North (RAN) is the Sports governing body, governing body for rugby union in the North American continental region. Rugby Americas North operates under the authority of World Rugby, and is one of six regional unions represented within it. Prior to 2016, the organisation was known as NACRA – the North America Caribbean Rugby Association. The preceding body before 2010 was NAWIRA – the North America and West Indies Rugby Association. The main objective of RAN is the promotion and development of rugby in North America and the Caribbean. United States Women's National Rugby Union Team
The USA Women's national rugby union team, nicknamed the Women's Eagles, represents the United States in women's international rugby union. The team was officially formed in 1987 and is nicknamed the Eagles. An international powerhouse during the 1990s— the Eagles won the inaugural 1991 Women's World Cup and finished second in the two following World Cups in 1994 and 1998.
