Nine News (stylized as 9News) is a national News agency, news service on the Nine Network in Australia. Its flagship program is an hour-long ''9News'' bulletin at 6:00 pm, with editions produced by Nine's owned-and-operated stations in TCN, Sydney, GTV (Australian TV station), Melbourne, QTQ, Brisbane, NWS (TV station), Adelaide, and STW, Perth. Regional editions for Northern New South Wales and the Gold Coast, Queensland, Gold Coast are broadcast under the NBN Television, NBN News brand and are produced in NBN (TV station), Newcastle. A supplementary regional news program for the Gold Coast, Queensland, Gold Coast in Queensland also airs every weeknight. National bulletins air throughout the day and evening, broadcast from Nine's headquarters in Sydney. Chris Smith (broadcaster)
Christopher Smith (born 22 July 1962) is an Australian journalist and talkback radio broadcaster. Smith attended Patrician Brothers' College, Fairfield. Career Smith has publicly addressed his alcoholism and mental health problems on a number of occasions. In an interview with the ''Daily Telegraph'', stating "I can never go back to that point. I've made some significant changes to my life. I think to a certain degree you have to hit ground zero before you do that." Smith has attempted to justify his behaviour by citing alcoholism and suffering from bipolar disorder. Sharyn Ghidella (born 4 December 1966) is an Australian journalist and news presenter. Career Ghidella's career in television began in the North Queensland region, as a reporter and presenter for North Queensland Television (now TNQ, 10 QLD) for 3 years. She also produced and presented the regional weekly current affairs program, ''Newsweek''. She moved to Brisbane to work with Network Ten's News division, before going to the Nine Network, in 1992. Rubber bullets (also called rubber baton rounds) are a type of baton round. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed. Knox runs the site, publishing his interviews with Australian media actors, producers, directors and programmers. Knox regularly visits the sets of Australian television series and reviews television programs. Knox also served as television critic for ABC Radio National's breakfast program from 2009 to 2015.
