Mercury (planet)
Mercury is the first planet from the Sun. It is a rocky planet with a trace atmosphere. While it is the List of Solar System objects by size, smallest and least massive planet of the Solar System, its surface gravity is slightly higher than that of Mars. The surface of Mercury is similar to Earth's Moon, heavily Impact crater, cratered, with expansive rupes system, generated from thrust faults, and bright ray systems, formed by ejecta. Its largest crater, Caloris Planitia, has a diameter of , which is about one-third the diameter of the planet (). Being the most inferior planet, inferior orbiting planet it appears in Earth's sky, always close to the Sun, either as a "morning star" or an "evening star". It stays most of the time the closest to all other planets and is the planet with the highest delta-v needed to travel to from all other planets of the Solar System. Mercury is a functional logic programming language made for real-world uses. The first version was developed at the University of Melbourne, Computer Science department, by Fergus Henderson, Thomas Conway, and Zoltan Somogyi, under Somogyi's supervision, and released on April 8, 1995. Mercury is a purely declarative logic programming language. It is related to both Prolog and Haskell. It features a strong, static, polymorphic type system, and a strong mode and determinism system. The official implementation, the Melbourne Mercury Compiler, is available for most Unix and Unix-like platforms, including Linux, macOS, and for Windows. Cerebro's X-Men
Cerebro's X-Men are a team of supervillains appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are a nanotechnology version of the X-Men created by Cerebro when the supercomputer briefly goes rogue. This team was created and designed by the Spanish artist Carlos Pacheco, who also drew them for the cover of ''Uncanny X-Men'' No. 360 (1998). The characters appeared in two issues of the '' Uncanny X-Men'' series and one issue of the '' X-Men'' series. Makkari, formerly known as Hurricane and Mercury, is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Jack Kirby, the character first appeared as Makkari in '' The Eternals'' #5 (November 1976), but through retroactive continuity was later established as also having been Mercury in '' Red Raven Comics'' #1 (August 1940), created by Kirby and Martin Bursten. Mercury (film)
''Mercury'' is a 2018 Indian horror thriller film that was written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film, which has no dialogue, stars an ensemble cast that includes Prabhu Deva, Sananth, Remya Nambeesan, Indhuja Ravichandran, Deepak Paramesh, Shashank Purushotham, and Anish Padmanabhan. Subbaraj presented the film under his own production banner Stone Bench Creations, whilst Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios co-produced the film. The plot is about five friends who are terrorised by the ghost of a victim of mercury poisoning. ''Mercury'' is a fictional story that was inspired by the 2001 Kodaikanal mercury poisoning.
