Malavan Bandar Anzali Football Club (, ''Bāšgāh-e Futbāl-e Malavān-e Bandar-e Anzali'') is an Iranian football club based in Bandar-e Anzali, Iran. It currently won Iran's second league, the Azadegan League and came back to Persian Gulf Pro League after they were relegated in the 2015–16 season. The team is known to have some of the most passionate fans in Iranian football, and is one of the country's most successful teams based outside Tehran. This team is one of the most successful Iranian teams in the Hazfi Cup. Malavan has reached the Hazfi Cup final 7 times and won 3 titles. The club forms the football part of the multisport Malavan Sport and Cultural Club. Malavan was previously owned by the Iranian Navy. Sirous Ghayeghran Stadium (Persian language, Persian: ورزشگاه سیروس قایقران, ''Vârzeshgah-e Sirous Ghayeghran'') is a association football, football stadium in Bandar-e Anzali, Iran. It is the home stadium of Malavan F.C., Malavan. Founded in 1953 as Diba Stadium, this stadium is one of the oldest stadiums in Iran and has been renamed twice. It was first named Takhti in 1981 in honor of the prominent Iranian wrestler (Gholamreza Takhti), and for the second time, at the request of the team's fans in 2022, the name of the stadium was changed to honor club legend Sirous Ghayeghran. Asian Club Championship 1987
The 1986 Asian Club Championship was the 6th edition of the annual Asian club football competition hosted by Asian Football Confederation. Several Asian clubs started the qualifying round in Fall of 1986. The final round was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in December 1986. Furukawa Electric defeated Al Hilal in the final to become the first Japanese club to win the Asian Club Championship. Defending champions Daewoo Royals were unable to defend their title as they finished third in the 1985 K League. Mohammad Mayeli Kohan (, born 5 June 1954) is an Iranian football coach and former player. He recently managed Malavan in Azadegan League. Early life He was born on 5 June 1954 in Bandar-e Anzali in Iran. His father was a farmer. He has two brothers and one sister. Playing career He moved to Tehran in 1967 and joined Ghasre Yakh Club in 1969. He played there until 1974. From 1974 to 1976 he played at Naft Tehran. Mayeli Kohan joined Persepolis in 1976. Hamid Reza Estili (; born 1 April 1967) is an Iranian football coach and former player. Estili was a member of the Iran national team and is mostly remembered for his memorable goal and goal celebration against the United States at the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Early life Estili was born on 1 April 1967 in Nazi Abad, Tehran. His father was a businessman and his mother a nurse. He began his football playing career with Pas Tehran in 1982. Hossein Mahini (; born September 16, 1986) is an Iranian former footballer who played as a defender. Club career Persepolis On 7 July 2012, he signed a two-year contract with the leading Tehran team, Persepolis. Mahini is known for his speed and crossing. Ardeshir "Amir" Ghalenoei (; born 22 November 1963) is an Iranian football coach and former player who currently manages Iran national football team.
