Earl Kitchener
Earl Kitchener, of Khartoum and of Broome in the County of Kent, was a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1914 for the famous officer Field Marshal Herbert Kitchener, 1st Viscount Kitchener of Khartoum. He had already been created Baron Kitchener of Khartoum, and of Aspall in the County of Suffolk, in 1898, Viscount Kitchener of Khartoum, and of the Vaal River in the Transvaal Colony, and of Aspall in the County of Suffolk, in 1902, and was made Baron Denton, of Denton in the County of Kent, and Viscount Broome, of Broome in the County of Kent, at the same time he was granted the earldom. Mount Kitchener
Mount Kitchener is a mountain located within the Columbia Icefield of Jasper National Park, which is part of the Canadian Rockies. The mountain can be seen from the Icefields Parkway (highway 93) near Sunwapta Pass. Mt. Kitchener was originally named Mount Douglas by J. Norman Collie after David Douglas. The Kitchener–Waterloo Kodiaks were a Senior "A" box lacrosse team from Waterloo, Ontario. The Kodiaks played in the Eastern Division of the Major Series Lacrosse Senior "A" Lacrosse League where they competed in a 20 game regular season (10 at home) from May through July and playoffs beginning in August and ending with the Mann Cup in September. The Kodiaks played their home games at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex, a multi-purpose recreational complex located in Waterloo, Ontario. The Kitchener Panthers are an independent, minor league baseball team of the Intercounty Baseball League based in Kitchener, Ontario. They play their home games at Jack Couch Baseball Park. The Panthers used to play at a ballpark in Victoria park before Jack Couch Park was built to replace the old Victoria Park stadium in 1967. The Kitchener Rangers are a major junior ice hockey team based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. They are members of the Midwest Division of the Western Conference of the Ontario Hockey League. The Rangers have won the J. Ross Robertson Cup as OHL champions in 1981, 1982, 2003 and 2008. They have appeared in six Memorial Cups (1981, 1982, 1984, 1990, 2003 and 2008), advancing to the final game of the tournament each of those six years. They are two-time Memorial Cup champions (1982, 2003). The Rangers are one of six teams in the Canadian Hockey League (Moose Jaw Warriors, Swift Current Broncos, Lethbridge Hurricanes, Peterborough Petes) that are publicly owned. The Kitchener Dutchmen were a Canada, Canadian junior ice hockey, junior ice hockey team based in Kitchener, Ontario, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Kitchener is a small town in the City of Cessnock, in the Hunter Region in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Kitchener is located 5 kilometres south of the town of Cessnock, NSW and is adjacent to Werakata National Park and the Aberdare State Forest. Mining history Kitchener was the location of the Aberdare Central Colliery which was developed by Caledonian Collieries Ltd during World War I.
