KBS Entertainment Awards
The KBS Entertainment Awards () is an event held yearly and is sponsored by KBS. The awards ceremony is approximately 140 minutes long and is shown in two parts on KBS2. The ceremony features performances by K-pop artists and music parodies from ''Gag Concert'' members. This event is held at the end of each year, except in 2017, the Entertainment Awards were not held due to the KBS Variety Director Strike. Variety Show
Variety show, also known as variety arts or variety entertainment, is entertainment made up of a variety of acts including musical performances, sketch comedy, magic, acrobatics, juggling, and ventriloquism. It is normally introduced by a compère (master of ceremonies) or host. The variety format made its way from the Victorian era stage in Britain and America to radio and then television. Variety shows were a staple of English language television from the late 1940s into the 1980s. While still widespread in some parts of the world, such as in the United Kingdom with the '' Royal Variety Performance'', and South Korea with '' Running Man'', the proliferation of multichannel television and evolving viewer tastes have affected the popularity of variety shows in the United States. 2 Days & 1 Night
''2 Days & 1 Night'' (; also known as ''1 Night 2 Days''; abbreviated as ''1N2D'') is a South Korean reality-variety show that airs every Sunday at 6:25pm KST on KBS2 beginning August 5, 2007. ''1 Night 2 Days'' used to be one of the two segments (the other segment is '' The Return of Superman'') on '' Happy Sunday''. The episodes are also uploaded with English subtitles weekly on YouTube through KBS World's official channel. The show's current cast members are Kim Jong-min, Yeon Jung-hoon, Moon Se-yoon, DinDin, Na In-woo, and Yoo Seon-ho. The show's motto is "Real Wild Road Variety." The Human Condition (TV Series)
''The Human Condition'' () is a South Korean variety show that started airing on November 17, 2012 on KBS2. The show currently broadcasts on Saturday evenings at 11:15 p.m. UTC+09. It features 6 top Korean actors being followed by cameras 24/7, showing new sides to them through the program, as they participate in social experiments about timely issues in South Korean modern society. Plot "Living without Cellphones, Television and Internet" is the theme for the 4-episode pilot. Kim Joon-ho (comedian)
Kim Jun-ho (born December 25, 1975), also known as Charlie Kim, is a South Korean comedian, singer and television personality. He has starred in ''Gag Concert'' since 1999 and was a member of the variety show ''2 Days & 1 Night'' from 2013 to 2019. He has also been the executive chairman of Busan International Comedy Festival since its conception in 2013. ''Hello Counselor'' () was a South Korean social commentary talk show that debuted on November 22, 2010. It was hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Lee Young-ja, and Cultwo ( Jung Chan-woo, Kim Tae-gyun). Choi Tae-joon joined the show as host from August 29, 2016 to September 4, 2017. After 8 years as host, Jung Chan-woo has left the show after the broadcast of April 23, 2018 due to health problems.
