Indian Express Limited (IEL) is an Indian news media publishing company. It publishes several widely circulated dailies, including ''The Indian Express'' and ''The Financial Express'' in English, the '' Loksatta'' in Marathi and the ''Jansatta'' in Hindi. The company's newspapers are published from over a dozen cities daily, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Pune, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kochi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Nagpur, Vadodara and Chennai. Its weekly entertainment magazine '' Screen'', covering the Indian film industry, also has a popular following. Marine Drive, Mumbai
Marine Drive, often referred to as the Queen's Necklace, is a 3 kilometre-long promenade along the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road in South Mumbai, Mumbai (Bombay), India. The road and promenade were constructed by Pallonji Mistry in 1940. It is a banana-shaped, six-lane concrete road along the coast of a natural bay. At the northern end of Marine Drive is Girgaon Chowpatty and the adjacent road links Nariman Point at the southern tip to Babulnath and Malabar Hill at the northern tip. Marine Drive is situated on reclaimed land facing west-south-west. Marine Drive is known as the Queen's Necklace because, when viewed at night from above, the Street light, streetlights resemble a string of pearls in a necklace. The Express Towers is a 25-storey building located on Marine Drive, Mumbai, Marine Drive in Nariman Point, Mumbai, India. Upon its completion in 1972, the building was the tallest building in South Asia for about two years. ''Screen'' is an Indian weekly film magazine published by Indian Express Limited. Established in 1951, it was owned by The Indian Express Group. The magazine was acquired by Star India in 2015 and subsequently ceased publication. It was relaunched in 2024. The magazine's content focused on India's Hindi film industry, a.k.a. Bollywood, located mainly in Mumbai. It also had an e-magazine version. History ''Screen'' was first published on 26 September 1951 with Manorama Katju as its managing editor.
