Høje-Taastrup Municipality
Høje-Taastrup Municipality () is a municipality ( Danish, '' kommune'') in the Capital Region on the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of , and has a total population of 59,059 (1. January 2025). It was formed by the 1970 Danish Municipal Reform, and its 1974 adjustment, by merging the parish municipalities of Høje Taastrup, Sengeløse, the Fløng part of Hvedstrup-Fløng and the Reerslev part of Reerslev-Vindinge. Since 1 January 2006 the mayor of the municipality has been Michael Ziegler, a member of the Conservative People's Party (''Det Konservative Folkeparti'') political party. Geography The main town is the town of Taastrup. Other towns in the municipality include Høje Taastrup (without hyphenation), Hedehusene, Fløng, Sengeløse, Vridsløsemagle and Reerslev. Municipalities Of Denmark
Denmark is divided into five regions of Denmark, regions, which contain 98 municipalities (, ; , ). The Capital Region of Denmark, Capital Region has 29 municipalities, Region of Southern Denmark, Southern Denmark 22, Central Denmark Region, Central Denmark 19, Region Zealand, Zealand 17 and North Denmark Region, North Denmark 11. Ishøj Municipality () is a municipality (Danish language, Danish: ''Municipalities of Denmark, kommune'') in the Capital Region of Denmark, Capital Region on the island of Zealand (Denmark), Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. Vallensbæk Municipality
Vallensbæk Municipality () is a municipality ( Danish: '' kommune'') in the Capital Region of Denmark on Zealand. It is part of the Greater Copenhagen area and consist primarily of the suburb of Vallensbæk. It is one of the smallest municipalities in Denmark in terms of area. Vallensbæk Municipality borders the municipalities of Ishøj, Høje-Taastrup, Albertslund and Brøndby. It borders Køge Bay, and the Køge Bay Beach Park (Danish: ''Køge Bugt Strandpark'') along the coast. The suburb of Vallensbæk consists of two sections, not directly connected to each other: '' Vallensbæk Nordmark'' in the north and '' Vallensbæk Strand'' in the south. Albertslund Municipality
Albertslund Municipality () is a municipality in Region Hovedstaden on the island of Zealand in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 23,04 km2, and has a population of 28,117 (1. January 2025). Its mayor is Steen Christiansen, a member of the Social Democrats (''Socialdemokraterne'') political party. As of 2010 the social democrats have 9 of the 21 seats in the city council.
