FC Daugava Riga (FK Daugava Rīga) is a former Soviet and Latvian football club from Riga. It participated in the Soviet championships. Through the years, the club represented various Riga factories like the VEF, RVR and the Riga Electrical Machine Building Works (). FK Pārdaugava
FK Pārdaugava was a Latvian football club based in Riga. It was founded in 1984 as Daugava-RVR, the youth team of FK Daugava Riga and became defunct in 1995. In 1991 it replaced FK Daugava and played in the Soviet First League. It completed the 1991 season in last place (22nd). After the fall of the Soviet Union, FK Pārdaugava for few seasons played in the Latvian Higher League. In 1995, with the bankruptcy of its sponsors, the club was dissolved after the 8th round of the Virslīga. Former Latvian football legend Gunārs Ulmanis was a coach in the team from 1991 to its dissolution. Torpedo Rīga
Torpedo Rīga was a football club that played in Riga. The club played in the Latvian league with good success from 1979 to 2000 when it merged with Policijas FK. History As Torpedo Rīga Torpedo Rīga was a football club which was supported by the union of Latvian taxicab drivers. As the Latvian league was amateur then (at least—partially), all Torpedo footballers in addition to playing football also had to perform duties as taxi drivers (but, of course, to a lesser extent than regular taxi drivers). As taxi driving was then considered a relatively easy job with rather good pay and the club also paid some bonuses, it attracted several former professionals with experience playing with Daugava Rīga and Zvejnieks Liepāja, for example, Grigorijs Kuzņecovs. For a couple of decades the club had been playing in lower Latvian football divisions (before Torpedo its name was FK RTP—Riga Taxi Park). Policijas FK
Policijas FK or FK Policija (later known as PFK Daugava) was a Latvian football club based in Riga that played in the Virslīga from 1999 to 2002. History The football club of the Latvian police forces was founded in 1994. Until 1998 it played in the lower divisions of Latvian football as a completely amateur team. In 1998 Policijas FK for the first year played in 1. līga and won the tournament. In 1999 Policijas FK coached by Georgijs Gusarenko debuted in Virslīga. The club's main star was veteran goalkeeper Raimonds Laizāns. Over 28 matches in 1999 Policijas FK scored 25 goals and succeeded 93 (even more than absolute league outsiders FK Rēzekne). FK RFS
FK RFS (FC RFS) is a professional Latvian association football, football club based in Riga. The club competes in Latvian Higher League, Virslīga, the top tier of the Latvian football league system. Founded in 2005, the club has worn a blue home kit and a white away kit since its inception. Since the start of playing in the Latvian higher league, RFS played their home matches in Jānis Skredelis' Stadium for almost 6 years, before moving to LNK Sporta Parks in the summer of 2022. FK Daugava Rīga was a Latvian football club, based at the Daugava Stadium in Riga. They played in the Latvian Higher League. The last manager of the team was Armands Zeiberliņš. From the club's foundation in 2003 till 2009 the club was known as ''FK Jūrmala'' and based in the city of Jūrmala. In 2010, they changed their name to ''FK Jūrmala-VV'', but in March 2012 the club moved to Riga, changing its name to ''FK Daugava Rīga''. FC Daugava was a Latvian football club, based at the Daugava Stadium, in the city of Daugavpils. It was founded as FC Ditton in 2001. They lastly played in the Latvian Second League in 2015. They were one of two simultaneous clubs with the name ''Daugava'' and should not be confused with the historic FK Daugava Rīga. In 2008, they won the Latvian Cup.
