Kenya has five incorporated cities including the capital and largest city, Nairobi, the second-largest city of Mombasa, and the third-largest city, Kisumu. The Parliament Buildings in Nairobi are the seat of the Parliament of Kenya, Kenyan Parliament. History The buildings were constructed in 1954 and became the home of the colonial legislature of the Kenya Colony, the Legislative Council of Kenya, which sat there until 1963, when the council was replaced by the National Assembly (Kenya), National Assembly.
