Cërrik
Cërrik (; sq-definite, Cërriku ) is a municipality in Elbasan County, central Albania. The municipality consists of the administrative units of Gostimë, Klos, Mollas, Shalës with Cërrik constituting its seat. As of the 2023 census, the population of the municipal unit is 7,001 and 25,163 in Cërrik Municipality. Geography Cërrik is located between the Shkumbin River and Devoll River in central Albania. Economy Cërrik developed around an oil refinery, which began construction in 1952 and started operation on 8 November 1956. The refinery was established by Simon Ranxha, Leonard Mitrushi, Bahri Hazizi, Hysen Voci, Dhimiter Toska, Jorgji Calja, Filip Gega, Lavdosh Hametaj, Vasip Gura, Shefqet Lole, Alush Rexho, and Ibrahim Gjevori. It initially processed 500 tons of crude oil per day. In 1957, its refining capacity increased to 800 tons per day. Klubi Sportiv Turbina Cërrik is an Albanian professional football club based in Cërrik, Elbasan County that competes in the Kategoria e Tretë, the fourth tier of Albanian football. Founded in 1956 as Puna Cërrik, it was renamed to Turbina Cërrik in 1958. The club's home ground is the Nexhip Trungu Stadium in Cërrik. Armando Sadiku
Armando Durim Sadiku (born 27 May 1991) is an Albanian professional association football, footballer. Currently a free agent, he last played as a striker (association football), striker for Indian Super League club FC Goa, Goa. Sadiku began his senior career with KF Turbina Cërrik, Turbina playing two seasons in Albania's second tier Kategoria e Parë. In 2009 he went to KS Gramozi Ersekë, Gramozi in top-flight division Kategoria Superiore where he had a breakthrough year, scoring eight goals, which earned him a move to fellow top-flight side KF Elbasani, Elbasani. Sadiku played only a half season with Elbasani, as he was banned from Albanian football due to non-sporting behavior. Alban Bekim Hoxha (; born 23 November 1987) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Albanian club Partizani and the Albania national team. Club career Dinamo Tirana Hoxha started youth football aged six and was raised through the ranks at his hometown team Turbina before joining the youth team of Dinamo Tirana in 2004.
